- Ramakanta is a businessman whose wife Lata dies under mysterious circumstances. Lata had adopted Rita, the daughter of Mamata, as she was childless. Lata writes a letter to Mamata before her death and Mamata comes to probe her death and prove that Ramakanta was behind it. Tapas Roy, an investigative officer joins Ramakanta’s office.
