with Stefanie and Elisha Goldstein
Stefanie and Elisha Goldstein, clinical psychologists, mindfulness teachers, co-founders of The Center for Mindful Living, and parents to three spirited boys, have made bringing mindfulness into the family and educational systems a key focus of their work. In a culture where stress, distraction and disconnection dominate the youth experience, mindfulness can be difficult to implement. However, when offered keeping youth culture in mind and heart, incorporating mindfulness into family and school cultures can inspire lasting positive change. When we teach mindfulness with a holistic approach by understanding specific cultures and including the entire system we can enrich the environment in ways that create a supported and integrated top-down and bottom-up process that results in lasting positive change.
In this keynote, Stefanie and Elisha will explore the science and practice of creating brain and heart enriched environments. Learning how to include and influence the entire system creates more opportunities for shared language, tools, connection and values to be woven throughout. This in turn creates endless possibilities for inspiration and effective integration!
