Malin Lind Lagerlöf

Biography

Malin Anna Louise Lagerlöf, originally from Holst, born June 18, 1968, on Lidingö, is a Swedish screenwriter and playwright. She is the granddaughter of Nils Lagerlöf and belongs to the Lagerlöf family from Värmland.

Lagerlöf has written a large number of scripts for theater, film, and television, been nominated for the Guldbagge for Best Screenplay, and often collaborated with her late husband, Daniel Lind Lagerlöf, with whom she has three children. In May 2016, she published an acclaimed autobiographical book about the time after her husband's death.

Malin Lagerlöf has on some occasions been accused of having committed plagiarism, including concerning Vägen ut and Fursten.
